Who We Are Looking For 

Are you enthusiastic about working with kids and knowledgeable about the world of Minecraft? We're seeking personable hosts to lead our engaging events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, connects well with elementary/tween/teenage kids, and can professionally represent Arrayscape Gaming.

 

Prior experience playing Minecraft and a basic understanding of technology are essential for this role.  As a host, you'll lead and actively play along in the activities alongside enthusiastic participants. Get ready to ignite imaginations, nurture creativity, and create memorable experiences for the next generation of Minecraft enthusiasts. 

 

Responsibilities
 
  •  Activity Preparation: Take ownership of hosting scheduled event activities, ensuring a thorough understanding of the activity and host instructions. 

  •  Technical: Install and set up the game, manage sign-in processes, facilitate joining our private server, handle gamertags, and prepare participants for the activity.

  • Independent Event Hosting: Lead captivating activities for participants, blending fun and education using pre-prepared materials. 

  • Interactivity and Collaboration: Actively engage with participants, offering encouragement and fostering a collaborative atmosphere throughout the experience. 
     

Qualifications
  • Ability to cultivate a dynamic and engaging gaming environment.

  • Reliable Transportation for commuting to customer sites. 

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to device/server setup.

  • Minecraft Experience

    • Proficiency in Minecraft gameplay, coupled with hands-on experience in executing operator commands. 

    • Passionate about gaming. 

    • Experience with creative building

  • Bonus

    •  Previous experience working with children aged 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, teaching, etc.).

You must have a device capable of concurrently
  • Participating in the activity (i.e., playing Minecraft ).

In this role, you will guide elementary students through the fundamentals of Scratch programming in our hands-on, collaborative classes. We offer instruction in both a progressive series (101-108) and flexible skill-based levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), allowing students to learn at their own pace. Our classes emphasize hands-on projects and collaborative learning, creating a fun and supportive environment where kids can develop their coding skills and unleash their creativity.

Junior Account Executive – Educational Gaming Events (Part-Time)

We work with librarians, school administrators, and parents to provide exciting, interactive events that enhance education through the power of gaming. Our goal is to create fun, educational experiences that motivate students and help them develop valuable skills in a dynamic, game-based environment.

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Entry-Level Junior Account Executive to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves gaming and education but has little or no sales experience. In this role, you will be responsible for introducing our unique educational gaming events to schools, libraries, and parents. You will be helping these organizations create fun, interactive learning experiences that inspire students to explore new ideas and develop skills through gaming.
 

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Sales Outreach: Identify potential clients, including schools, libraries, and parent groups, who could benefit from our educational gaming events.
     

  • Engage & Educate: Reach out to school administrators, librarians, and parents to introduce our gaming events, explain how they can enhance student learning, and discuss the benefits of incorporating games into educational settings.
     

  • Product Knowledge: Learn about Arrayscape Gaming’s various educational events and how they promote learning and creativity in students. Use this knowledge to confidently communicate with potential clients.
     

  • Lead Generation: Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads by reaching out to new prospects, setting meetings, and qualifying potential clients.
     

  • Relationship Building: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with educational institutions, libraries, and parent organizations by understanding their needs and providing tailored event solutions.
     

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and event teams to align efforts and ensure a smooth process from initial contact to event execution.
     

  • Customer Support: Assist clients with event logistics and ensure a seamless experience by helping them through the booking process and providing necessary resources.

Compensation

At Arrayscape Gaming, we believe in offering a competitive compensation package to reward your hard work and success. Below is an overview of the compensation structure for the Junior Account Executive position:

Base Salary: $20–25 per hour (dependent on experience)
Base Salary (Annual): $19,200–$24,000 per year (assuming 20 hours/week).
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $25,000–$32,500 annually, including base salary and commissions.

  • Commission & Bonuses:

  • You will have the opportunity to earn additional commission based on the number of events you book. Commissions are based on a percentage of sales or specific revenue targets.

  • Incentives: Performance-based bonuses throughout the year, with additional opportunities for growth and achievement-based rewards.
